Cancellations and refunds
Draft template. This wording is a starting point for a UK maternity education business. Have a solicitor review it and complete the ADD fields before launch, then set SHOW_LEGAL_DRAFT_NOTICE=false.

One-to-one sessions
- Cancel or rearrange free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice in your account or by email.
- Within 24 hours, or if you do not attend, the session is chargeable.
- If I need to cancel, I will offer a new time or a full refund.
Your 14-day right to cancel (services)
If you are a consumer and buy at a distance, you normally have 14 days to cancel a service. When you book a session to take place within the 14 days, you ask me to start early. If you then cancel, you pay for what has been provided up to that point.
Coaching packages
- You can cancel within 14 days for a refund less the value of anything already delivered.
- After that, you can end a monthly package with 14 days’ notice; the unused part of a one-off package is refunded pro rata, except where I was ready, willing and available to provide it.
- If I cannot attend your birth (for example, because of a clash or illness), I will refund the birth-support part of the fee as set out in your agreement.
Online courses and downloads (digital content)
You have 14 days to cancel a digital content purchase, but you lose that right once you start streaming or downloading after you have agreed to this and acknowledged you will lose the right. If the course is faulty or not as described, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected, and I will fix it or refund you.
How refunds are paid
To the original payment method within 14 days of agreeing a refund.
